Refund & cancellation policy

Scope

This policy applies to Price Action Foundations, Chart Reading Essentials, One-to-One Chart Coaching, and related deposits booked with PineBase Training. It does not cover products we do not sell (software licences, signal subscriptions, or shipped retail goods).

Cooling-off for distance bookings

If you book at a distance (email or form) as a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of booking confirmation for a full refund of sums paid, unless the training has begun with your express request to start inside that period. Once a cohort session you were scheduled to attend has started, that portion of the service is underway.

Cohort deposits

The £300 seat deposit is refundable in full if you cancel at least 14 days before session one. Cancellations inside 14 days forfeit the deposit unless we fill your seat from the waitlist, in which case we refund the deposit minus a £40 administration fee.

Cohort balance payments

Balances paid for Price Action Foundations or Chart Reading Essentials:

• Full refund of the balance if we cancel the cohort
• Full refund of the balance if you cancel 14+ days before session one (deposit rules above still apply)
• 50% of the balance if you cancel 7–13 days before session one
• No balance refund inside 6 days of session one, except for documented medical emergencies at our discretion

Missed sessions & transfers

Missed classroom sessions are not individually refunded. You may request a transfer to a later cohort once, subject to seat availability and a £60 transfer fee, requested at least 7 days before the new start date.

Coaching sessions

One-to-One Chart Coaching may be rescheduled once without charge if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations inside 48 hours or no-shows forfeit the session fee. Prepaid three-packs are non-refundable for unused sessions after 90 days from purchase but remain usable until that date.

Materials

Printed chart packs already produced for a named student are non-refundable once printing has started. Digital copies supplied after payment remain yours for personal use under the Terms.

Work already started

If private materials review for coaching has begun (charts annotated by an instructor ahead of the meeting), we may retain up to 30% of the session fee when a late cancellation still incurs preparation time.

Refund method & timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 working days of approval. Bank transfer refunds may require you to confirm account details.
